As a federal organisation reassembling 24 regional federations and associations for social solidarity and 262 local committees for social solidarity, it also comprises 23 associations for the protection of elderly.

The TSSU is administered by a managing committee composed of 18 members, all volunteers and assisted by a board made of 6 persons manly: President, Vice – President, Secretary General, Deputy Secretary  General, Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer.

This group of volunteers is assisted by a salaried staff made of professional workers.

Under the management of the president of TSSU, the administration is carried out by a general board that looks over administrative and social, financial and accounting, internal audit, and various technical and active services.

The TSSU activities are also annually controlled by two external auditors.

The Zakat Funds

It is a national structure that emerged out of the TSSU under the name of National Council for Zakat Fund which is chaired, by the Union President‘s deputy.

The Zakat Fund has a special bank account that is autonomous from the Solidarity’s account.
