These cash grants and in kind are ordered by the President of the Republic in favour of needy families or low income to help them cope with expenses for the month of Ramadan, the feast of Eid El Fitr, the Eid El Idha and Mouled.

The TSSU determines the volume of aid in cash and in kind and their sources of funding, according to the instructions of the President of the Republic. It then prepares aids in kind in its central warehouse and transfers the cash grants and in kind to its regional structures, accompanied by explanatory letters. TSSU recommends taking the necessary precautions to ensure transparency in the allocation of aids
On the other hand, the Governor of the region or his delegate oversees a committee of stakeholders to determine the part of each delegation and mobilize stakeholders at the regional and local levels.
TSSU provides support for other associations operating in solidarity field on this occasion for the benefit of needy families.

Presidential aids are supported by voluntary Solidarity actions in the regional and local levels that reflects the deep values and mutual support in Tunisia. The annual volume of this voluntary action is on average 5 times higher than the presidential aid.
